In the tradition of what was done by the then Ligornetto municipality, in 2015 the Casa Pessina Museum reopened for temporary exhibitions, giving itself a new identity after its aggregation with the City of Mendrisio.
And so, while up until 2013 it had hosted exhibitions by artists from the region for ten years, since then Casa Pessina has become an exhibition space in which to present and introduce young photographers from Ticino to the public.
